In this section we have listed our heavy duty refrigeration products which are specifically designed for use in demanding restaurant kitchens.

All commercial refrigeration has to cope with a far more demanding environments; higher temperatures may be considerably hotter and more humid and doors are opened and closed on a very regular basis. However, in restaurant kitchens these conditions are at their most demanding, which is where 'heavy-duty' models come into their own.

Products features in this section include a number of unique features specifically designed to cope with use in restaurant kitchens and commercial catering kitchens. These include; Ventilated 'fully-blown' cooling systems - which deliver rapid temperature recovery rates after door openings and reduce icing up of fridges and freezers. High grade foamed cavity insulation - which provides improved temperature performance and energy efficiency. High grade AISA 304 stainless steel construction designed to withstand heavy use. Electronic controllers which deliver up to 30% lower energy use and improve temperature performance. Most models featured are fitted with branded UK components including high quality compressors (eg Apsera), leading brand controllers (eg. Danfoss) and low-energy EBM fan motors. 

Heavy duty models are typically defined as having an oversized condenser - but don't panic! This doesn't mean increased energy use. Rather and oversized unit will typically use considerably less energy compared to a medium or light duty commercial model.
